Praxe as a no-brainer activity?

How come the senior students at UMinho seem to be void of brain power when they put on their black dresses and have a bunch newcomers in front of them?

It seems they enjoy hazing the newcomers.

Officially the "praxe" is a way of teaching the newcomers the values of academia.

I guess someone forgot to tell the "praxistas" or are they just void any civil manners in their black dresses?

If people at work treat newcomers like I guess one could sue them real quick. But student, bah, they´ll grow up eventually, or? But what if they don´t ...
